Commitment to Ethical Research Standards

All papers submitted to Wisdom Vortex must adhere to the highest ethical standards concerning research involving human and animal subjects. Authors must include a clear and explicit statement ensuring compliance. Manuscripts failing to meet these requirements will not be considered.

Human Rights Policy

Research must align with the Declaration of Helsinki (1975, revised 2000 & 2008) and national Ethics Committee standards.

  • Ethical Approval: A statement from an Institutional Review Board (IRB) is mandatory.
  • Informed Consent: Must be obtained from all participants prior to the study.
  • Privacy & Confidentiality: Identifiable data must not be disclosed without explicit consent.
  • Vulnerable Populations: Special protections must be applied for children, minorities, or individuals with disabilities.

Animal Rights Policy & 3Rs Principle

Studies must comply with international guidelines for the care and use of laboratory animals. We strictly follow the 3Rs Principle:

Replacement
Use alternatives where possible.
Reduction
Minimize the number of animals.
Refinement
Minimize pain and suffering.

Mandatory Reporting Statements

Authors MUST include these exact statements to avoid desk rejection:

FOR HUMAN RESEARCH:
"This study was conducted in accordance with the ethical standards of the [Institutional Review Board name] and the Declaration of Helsinki. Informed consent was obtained from all participants."
FOR ANIMAL RESEARCH:
"This study was conducted in accordance with [National Guidelines]. The procedures were reviewed and approved by the [Institutional Animal Ethics Committee]."

Non-Compliance

Violations may lead to immediate rejection, formal retraction of published work, and reporting to the author's institution or regulatory bodies.
