Archiving and Digital Preservation Policy

Wisdom Vortex: International Journal of Social Science and Humanities is committed to long-term preservation and accessibility of all published content. The journal uses the following archiving and digital preservation strategies:

  • PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN): All published articles are preserved through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN), ensuring secure and permanent digital archiving using LOCKSS technology.
  • Internet Archive (archive.org): The journal also deposits its digital content in the Internet Archive, enabling global access and additional preservation redundancy.
  • Institutional and University Repositories: Authors are encouraged to self-archive their published articles in institutional and university repositories to maximize visibility and accessibility.
  • Library and Repository Partnerships: The journal collaborates with libraries and open-access platforms to ensure broader discoverability and long-term availability of its content.

Objectives of the Archiving Policy:

  • To ensure permanent preservation of published research articles.
  • To protect against accidental data loss through multiple archiving systems.
  • To provide global, unrestricted access to scholarly content for future generations.
  • To follow recognized international standards of digital preservation.

Through these strategies, the journal guarantees that its content remains permanently accessible, citable, and preserved.
