Article Withdrawal Policy

Wisdom Vortex: International Journal of Social Science and Humanities is committed to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of the publication process. Withdrawing a manuscript after submission wastes valuable resources, including the efforts of editors, reviewers, and the editorial team. To avoid unnecessary withdrawals, authors are strongly encouraged to carefully review their manuscripts before submission and ensure all co-authors are in full agreement.

Guidelines to Prevent Withdrawal

Before submitting a manuscript, authors should:

  • Verify the accuracy of data and facts multiple times.
  • Confirm that the facts and data presented are their own work and that they have appropriate permissions if using external sources.
  • Ensure that all authors agree with the manuscript’s content, interpretation of data, and choice of journal.
  • Determine the number, order, and contributions of authors prior to submission.
  • Inform all authors about the final version of the manuscript and the journal where it will be submitted.
  • Submit the manuscript only once and avoid simultaneous submissions to multiple journals.

Withdrawal Requests

  • Manuscripts may be withdrawn at any stage of review or publication only for compelling and unavoidable reasons.
  • Authors must submit a completed "Article Change Form", signed by all authors, explaining the reason for withdrawal. The form is available from the journal’s administration.
  • Withdrawal requests submitted after acceptance or close to publication will be scrutinized carefully, and approval will be granted only in exceptional cases.
  • If an author does not respond to editorial office communications after multiple reminders, the journal reserves the right to take appropriate actions, including disclosing author conduct and manuscript content to relevant institutions. The journal will not be held responsible for any consequences arising from this.
